| HIT & RUN at Lower Barn Saturday 17 April |
| Posted 17.04.2010, 20:49 by Bluetiger |

Hi guys
I know this is a long shot but myself and a group of friends were up at the lower barn this afternoon and when I returned to my bike (a blue ZX6R Ninja) I was told that a taxi had reversed into it, stood it back up with the help of another biker who I believe was there with his daughter and left.
I've come back to a bike that now has all the lower fairing scratched, dented exhaust, bust mirror and scraped bar end. If that's not bad enough I was extremely lucky to be able to get home before the front brake lever sheared off!!!
Unfortunately the witnesses (the bikers daughter) who kindly wrote the registration down didn't get the make or model of the car (the paint on my fairing suggests red or brown) and the registration has not been recognised by the Police.
I wonder if anyone saw it or remembers seeing the taxi?? Any help would be massively appreciated! I'm guessing it happened about 4pm.
I will be phoning the Barn tomorrow to see if they have any cameras but other than that it looks as though he gets away with it while I end up with the repair bill and a bike I can't use again till I get a new lever.
Thanks
