Top Gear star Richard Hammond has been moved from Leeds General Infirmary - just a week after a horrific crash left him with a 'significant brain injury'.
The 36-year-old was seen smiling as medical staff helped him aboard an air ambulance at the hospital.
It is thought the petrolhead pin-up is being moved to another hospital nearer to his family home in Gloucestershire.
The star crashed last Wednesday while driving a jet-powered Vampyre dragster at speeds close to 300mph at Elvington airfield.
Hammond's family have been 'overwhelmed' at the response from the public, with a separate hospital room being used for cards and flowers sent to the presenter.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance, who airlifted the 36-year-old from the crash scene, have received donations of £175,000, including one donation from an anonymous donor of £50,000.

Spam Accounts & Link Spaming
Anyone who joins the site just to spam links and websites will have their account deleted straight away. At the moment about 10-20 accounts are being deleted every day, mostly from Americans who join the site with the sole purpose of spamming. From now on ANY new members who don’t activate their account within 24 hours will have the account deleted. This is to save server resources for genuine contributing members. |

We’ve had a few complaints of late about the way the site is going, the reason seems to be a few people aren’t happy about certain things on the site and we’ve not had a vote on site matters for ages. Anyway now’s your chance to change things. One of the matters brought up by a few people has been the back rooms section which is the “Site Sponsors Only” room & “The Back Room”. I think we should have a vote to see if this part of the site should survive or not. Voting seems to work and it’s the only really democratic option where everyone who’s a registered member of the site gets a vote. So if you don’t vote don’t complain about how the site is being run in the future, it’s your site so vote for what you want! The voting will run for 7 days per section.
If anyone has any further ideas (reasonable ones) post them on this thread and please don’t use this thread for anything else as peoples ideas may get buried & missed.

Just a quick note that Roughleys Bike & Music show is on at Stockport Market place Sunday 27th August, with it all kicking off at 12.00 noon till about midnight.
All proceeds go to local charities. The Show this year will have a vast array of bikes and multiple live bands.
Incase any of you are at a loose end why not show your face?
